Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to information processed through DC CampaignEngine when it is used to connect to advertising, analytics, commerce, or related business platforms, including Meta products where applicable.

2. Information we may process

Depending on the integrations enabled and the permissions granted, DC CampaignEngine may process:

• business portfolio, advertising account, Page, Instagram account, dataset, campaign, ad set, ad, and creative identifiers;
• advertising account metadata such as account name, currency, timezone, and status;
• campaign configuration, delivery state, budget settings, and advertising performance metrics;
• creative asset references and media supplied by authorized users;
• integration metadata, timestamps, audit records, evidence references, and technical diagnostics;
• authentication credentials or access tokens required to communicate with connected providers.

DC CampaignEngine does not intentionally request or use permissions that are unnecessary for the enabled functionality.

3. How we use information

Information may be used to:

• connect and validate authorized advertising accounts and assets;
• read and normalize advertising account, campaign, and performance data;
• prepare, create, update, pause, or reconcile advertising resources when the required authorization is present;
• support campaign analysis, reporting, decision support, and operational workflows;
• maintain audit history and evidence of system actions;
• detect integration failures and improve reliability and security;
• apply spending, authorization, and operational safeguards.

Artificial intelligence may be used for interpretation, classification, summaries, and suggestions. It is not intended to independently authorize advertising spend.

4. Meta platform data

When DC CampaignEngine is connected to Meta services, it accesses information only through permissions granted to the relevant app, system user, business, or account and through applicable Meta APIs.

Meta remains responsible for information it holds on its own systems. Disconnecting DC CampaignEngine does not by itself delete information stored by Meta.

5. Authorization and lawful use

Users must only connect business accounts and assets they are authorized to access. Information is processed where necessary to provide requested functionality, support legitimate operational and security needs, comply with applicable obligations, or where another appropriate legal basis applies.

6. Data sharing

DCecosystem does not sell personal information processed through DC CampaignEngine.

Information may be transmitted to connected third-party platforms when required to provide the requested integration. Infrastructure or service providers may also process limited information where necessary to operate the system, subject to appropriate access controls.

7. Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, audit, security, reconciliation, contractual, or legal purposes. Where deletion is requested and no applicable retention requirement prevents it, relevant information will be deleted or anonymized.

8. Security

DC CampaignEngine is designed around security principles including least-privilege access, separation of credentials from application code, server-side secret handling, audit logging, tenant or workspace isolation where applicable, controlled provider permissions, and guarded external actions.

No system can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to reduce risk.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or information about how your data is processed.

You may also revoke or modify DC CampaignEngine's access through the relevant provider settings, including Meta Business settings where applicable.

10. Children's data

DC CampaignEngine is a business advertising management system and is not intended for use by children.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as DC CampaignEngine evolves, integrations change, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
